1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Muay Thai Pai website, booking our services, or participating in our training programs, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Muay Thai Pai offers authentic Muay Thai training programs, including:

  • Group training sessions and private lessons
  • Beginner to advanced level instruction
  • Traditional Muay Thai techniques and cultural education
  • Fitness and conditioning programs

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without prior notice.

3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

To participate in our programs, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18
  • Be in adequate physical condition to participate in martial arts training
  • Disclose any medical conditions that may affect your ability to train safely
  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration

4. Booking and Registration

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. When you book:

  • You must provide accurate personal and payment information
  • Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot
  • You will receive a confirmation email with booking details
  • You agree to arrive on time for scheduled sessions

5. Liability Waiver & Risk Acknowledgment

IMPORTANT: Please read this section carefully

By participating in Muay Thai training at Muay Thai Pai, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks involved in martial arts training.

5.1 Acknowledgment of Risks

Muay Thai is a combat sport that involves physical contact, striking, and intensive physical activity. You acknowledge that participation carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Bruises, cuts, scrapes, and minor injuries
  • Sprains, strains, and muscle soreness
  • Fractures, dislocations, or broken bones
  • Concussions or head injuries
  • Cardiovascular stress or exhaustion
  • Aggravation of pre-existing medical conditions
  • In rare cases, serious injury or death

5.2 Assumption of Risk

By participating in our programs, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with Muay Thai training, whether known or unknown. You understand that:

  • Injuries can occur despite proper instruction and safety precautions
  • You are responsible for knowing your own physical limitations
  • You must immediately inform instructors of any pain, discomfort, or injury
  • You should consult a physician before beginning training if you have any health concerns

5.3 Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Muay Thai Pai, its owners, instructors, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from:

  • Personal injury, illness, or death sustained during training
  • Damage to or loss of personal property
  • Any actions or omissions of instructors, staff, or other participants
  • Facility conditions or equipment malfunction

5.4 Medical Treatment Authorization

In the event of injury or medical emergency, you authorize Muay Thai Pai staff to:

  • Provide or arrange for first aid or emergency medical treatment
  • Contact emergency services if necessary
  • Transport you to a medical facility for treatment

You agree to be financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of injury during training.

5.5 Safety Requirements

To minimize risk, you agree to:

  • Follow all safety instructions and gym rules
  • Use required protective equipment (gloves, shin guards, etc.)
  • Respect your training partners and exercise appropriate control
  • Not train under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Inform instructors of any injuries or medical conditions

6. Refund & Payment Policy

ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE

Muay Thai Pai does not provide refunds for any training sessions, memberships, or services once payment has been completed.

6.1 No Refund Policy

Once you complete a booking and payment is processed, the transaction is final. No refunds will be issued for:

  • Unused training sessions or memberships
  • Cancellations for any reason, including personal emergencies
  • Dissatisfaction with training or instruction
  • Inability to attend due to travel issues, illness, or injury
  • Weather conditions or natural events
  • Changes in personal circumstances

6.2 Payment Terms

Payment policies include:

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking
  • We accept major credit cards and debit cards via Stripe
  • All prices are listed in Thai Baht (THB)
  • Prices are subject to change without notice
  • You are responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by your bank

6.3 Rescheduling Policy

While we do not offer refunds, we may allow rescheduling under certain conditions:

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled session
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and instructor discretion
  • Only one reschedule is permitted per booking
  • Rescheduled sessions must be used within 30 days of the original booking date
  • No-shows or late cancellations (less than 48 hours) forfeit the session entirely

6.4 Gym-Initiated Cancellations

If Muay Thai Pai must cancel a session due to:

  • Instructor unavailability
  • Facility closure
  • Severe weather or safety concerns
  • Other circumstances beyond our control

We will offer you the option to reschedule or receive a credit toward future sessions. Refunds will not be provided even in these circumstances.

6.5 Chargebacks and Disputes

By making a payment, you agree that:

  • You will not initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for services rendered
  • Fraudulent chargebacks may result in legal action and collection efforts
  • You will contact us directly to resolve any billing concerns before disputing charges
  • Initiating an unauthorized chargeback may result in permanent ban from our services

7. Code of Conduct

All participants must:

  • Respect instructors, staff, and other students at all times
  • Follow gym rules, safety protocols, and instructor directions
  • Maintain appropriate behavior and language
  • Respect Thai culture, traditions, and customs
  • Keep the training area clean and organized
  • Wear appropriate training attire

Violation of our code of conduct may result in immediate removal from the facility without refund.

8. Photography and Media

During training sessions, we may take photographs or videos for:

  • Social media marketing and promotion
  • Website content and testimonials
  • Training documentation and improvement

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform staff at the beginning of your session. This consent is optional and will not affect your participation.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Muay Thai Pai website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and training materials, is the property of Muay Thai Pai and protected by copyright laws. You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or modify our content without permission
  • Use our branding or materials for commercial purposes
  • Record or distribute training techniques without authorization

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muay Thai Pai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Loss of data or information
  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Emotional distress or mental anguish

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Muay Thai Pai from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these terms and conditions
  • Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
  • Your use of our services or facilities
  • Your negligent or willful misconduct

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mae Hong Son Province, Thailand.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
