This is not simply about being a better fighter. Level 5 requires mastery across every dimension of Muay Thai:

• Technical excellence — Elite striking speed and precision, complete sparring proficiency, total clinch mastery
• Teaching ability — Leading drills, mentoring beginners, communicating technique clearly
• Cultural depth — Understanding the spiritual roots, performing Ram Muay, connecting to the art's soul
• Knowledge — History, competition rules, Muay Boran, and the traditions that make Muay Thai unique
• Physical mastery — A comprehensive assessment proving you can perform at the highest level

The 10 Competencies

Each competency must be demonstrated in person and signed off by a gym owner or admin. There are no shortcuts at this level.

The Garuda is the king of birds, mount of Vishnu, and the national symbol of Thailand. It represents divine power exercised with wisdom. The Garuda does not destroy — it protects. It does not hoard knowledge — it shares it.

A Garuda-certified practitioner carries this same responsibility. You are not just skilled — you are a guardian of the art.

Duration and Structure

This course spans approximately one month of dedicated study and practice. The 60-day minimum wait after Hanuman ensures you have had time to absorb and practice Level 4 material before attempting the pinnacle.

Only gym owners and admins can issue the Garuda certificate. This is by design — the highest certification carries the highest accountability.
